Tara Reid first appeared in commercials on television when she was still a small child. Her big break came when Tara Reid made an appearance in Saved by the Bell: The New Class. Her roles have been performed effortlessly, in spite of the criticism. Her breakthrough came when she played Bunny, in The Big Lebowski. This movie was an important step in her career. Reid began receiving more offers from films such as Urban Legend, Cruel Intentions and similar ones. But it was American Pie the cult movie about teenagers and sexual encounters which established Reid in the spotlight as a promising actress for Hollywood due to her character as virgin Vicky. All this did not lead to a hugely lucrative Hollywood career. Reid was a misfire with movies such as Josie and the Pussycats. Her career waned despite a short role as a character in American Pie 2. Reid is more well-known for her work as a fashion stylist and party host than she is an actress. The reason for this is her mistakes on the screen, social media-driven plastic surgeries, and other appearances that were blink-and-miss.
